Andaman & Nicobar : Special Training for CISF Jawans at Port Blair Airport to detect and report suspected cases of Coronavirus

Port Blair, Feb15 (UNI) The Health Department of Andaman and Nicobar Islands is conducting special orientation programme for the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel at Veer Savarkar International (VSI) Airport, Port Blair to sensitize them about the on-going outbreak of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-2019) across the globe.
The special training programme was also important because the CISF personnel are the first point of contact for any suspected case coming to these Islands.
About 60 CISF personnel have already been trained at VSI Airport, Port Blair, in this regard.
