Amid tension, Pakistan skips SCO military medicine conference in Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 12 (UNI) Amid ongoing tension between India and Pakistan post abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan on Thursday skipped the two-day Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) military medicine conference organised by India here.
Nearly 30 foreign and 40 Indian delegates attended the conference being held at Manekshaw Centre.
The seat allotted to Pakistan was vacant. The conference was inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
This is the first military cooperation event hosted by India after becoming a full-time member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
