Air India woman pilot lodges harassment case; airline orders inquiry

New Delhi, May 15 (UNI) State-owned Air India on Wednesday ordered an internal inquiry after a woman pilot filed a sexual harassment complaint against her senior.
In a letter to the higher authorities, the woman pilot has complained that the incident took place during the training session in Hyderabad.
She said her commander pilot had taken her to a restaurant for dinner after the completion of the training where he narrated his depressed and unhappy married life. Then he started asking questions about her personal life.
She saud that she had to call a cab after the pilot started crossing his limits. ,making her feel completely humiliated and scared.

Air India spokesperson said, “Air India has set up an enquiry against its senior captain in a sexual harassment case after receiving a complaint from a woman pilot.”
