Admin’s efforts lead to more polling

Bhopal, Dec 6 (UNI) Special attention was paid this time to assembly polling centres in urban areas of Indore District that witnessed low turnout during the previous polls.
Twenty-one such places were identified. With the help of the ‘Vote Indore Vote’ app, the cellular phone numbers of voters was verified by the booth level officer and text messages dispatched. At the grassroots level, more than 100 volunteers went from door-to-door, official sources said on Thursday.
Positive results were recorded in Devrakhedi, Nandbagh, Qila Maidan, Shastri Colony, Sirpur, Ganganagar Colony, Kalani Nagar, Samver Road, Little Moon, Deendayal Upadhyaya Nagar Sukhliya, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, Polo Ground, Ring Road, Bhagyashri, Agra Bombay Road, Tejpurgadbadi, Pipalyarao, Palda, Dakachya and Samver.
