6.4 Earthquake in Assam jolts Sikkim

Gangtok, Apr 28 (UNI) 6.4 magnitude Earthquake in Assam today jolted Sikkim, also.
The tremor was felt at 7.51 am here also.’
It occurred at Sonitpur, with 17 km depth.at 26.69 North Latitude and 92.36 Longitude. It was very much felt here,’ confirmed Dr Gopinath Raha. There was an after shock of 3.6 magnitudes, at 8.44 it was reviewed by the National Centre for Seismology, Govt of India and recorded as 3.6.
