5 More nursing training schools in WB

Kolkata, Jun 02 (UNI) The state health department will set up five more nursing training schools adding 960 more seats to resolve the dearth of trained health professionals.
In all 39 general nursing and midwifery(GNM) schools, with intake capacity of 2175 students, will come up, Minister of state for Health Chandrima Bhattacharya said at a nursing conclave organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry here recently.
Altogether ten government nursing colleges, five government auxiliary nurses midwifery(ANM) Training schools would come up.
