3rd UP state ranking TT in Kanpur from Friday

Kanpur, Sep 12(UNI) Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee 3rd Uttar Pradesh State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament will be held at Green Park Sports Stadium, here from September 13 to 15 under the auspices of Kanpur Table Tennis Association and under the direction of UP Table Tennis Association.
About 325 participants from all over the State are expected to take part in the tournament. The tournament will be held for all the singles events. Viz., Men/Women, Youth Boys/girls, Junior Boys/Girls, Sub-Junior Boys/Girls and Cadet Boys/ Girls.
Almost all the ranked players of every section have confirmed their entries. The finals will be played on September 15 at 3.00 pm, said UPTT Association general secretary Arun Banerjee here on Thursday.
Mr Atin Rastogi, International Umpire from Lucknow will be the Chief Referee and Amit Kumar Singh, Blue Badge International Umpire as Deputy Referee. Stag 3-star Supreme ball will be used. Cash to the tune of Rs. 20, 000/- is sponsored by U.P. Table Tennis Association.
