Damascus, Apr 19 (UNI) The Islamic State (IS) in Syria carried out two attacks in the desert area on Thursday, killing 28 people, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Friday.
One attack targeted a military bus in the desert region east of the central province of Homs, killing 22 pro-government fighters from the al-Quds Brigade with medium and heavy machine guns.
In a separate attack, six Syrian soldiers were killed by IS elements on their headquarters in the village of Hasrat in the countryside of al-Bukamal city in eastern Syria.
