17-feet python found in northern Bengal tea garden

Kolkata, Oct 9 (UNI) There was panic when a 17-feet long python was found in a Northern West Bengal tea garden under Alipurduar district, officials said on Sunday.
The python was first noticed by workers of the Mujnai tea garden close to the Madarihat forest on Saturday.
The workers informed the Jaldapara National Forest authorities, whose staff caught the reptile from a ditch and later released it in the reserved forest area.
