14 teams for Indian Oil Surjit Hockey Tournament

Chandigarh, Oct 21 (UNI) Fourteen top teams of the country, including defending champions Punjab Police and runners-up Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, New Delhi will compete for top honours in the 35th IndianOil SERVO Surjit Hockey Tournament to be played at the Olympian Surjit Singh polytan turf Hockey Stadium, Burlton Park from October 23 to 31.
Punjab and Sind Bank Delhi, CAG New Delhi, Air India Mumbai, Indian Railways Delhi, IndianOil Mumbai, Indian Navy Mumbai, Indian Air Force Mumbai, RCF Kapurthala, BSF Jalandhar, CRPF Delhi, Punjab National Bank Delhi and Army-XI Delhi are the other participating teams.
In the nine-day hockey bonanza, 11 teams have been seeded directly into League stage and divided in four pools, where as one team from knock out stage will qualify for league.
