New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) Zee TV's show 'Maggi Kitchen Journeys' brings forth 12 heart-warming, motivating chronicles of women who have established their own unique identity, empowered themselves and their families, using food as a medium.
These women have applied their cooking skills creatively in various ways, right from starting their own tiffin service to being a ‘foodpreneur’ to using their talent for rewarding causes such as social upliftment.
The guests share their awe-inspiring success stories in a free-wheeling chat with the show's host, Renuka Shahane, who with her warmth and beautiful personality gets them to open up and share it all candidly.
This week’s episode will feature the story of Kainaz Messman, the famous pastry chef of India.
Having had a major back injury that left her bedridden, Kainaz had to quit her job but she didn't let this stop her in the pursuit of her dream and went on to open one of the best-known bakeries in the country 'Theobroma'.
The biggest achievement for Kainaz is the growth of her bakery. Theobroma has grown from humble beginnings in 2004 at Colaba Causeway to a chain of 12 outlets in Mumbai, and eight in Delhi, offering a range of products including cakes, chocolates, cookies, pastries and toffees.
Kainaz was invited to share her story and talk about her passion for baking and confectionery on Maggi Kitchen Journeys. Renuka Shahane who hosts this show was elated on meeting Kainaz and was all praises for her achievements.
Every week, the guests and foodpreneurs appearing on the show whip up some delicious and lip-smacking signature recipes alongside host Renuka Shahane.
