Yuva Sankalp Varsh in MP

Bhopal, Aug 19 (UNI) The 75th birth anniversary year of Bharat Ratna erstwhile premier Rajiv Gandhi is to be observed as Yuva Sankalp Varsh – by the Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department – from Tuesday to May 21, 2020, official sources said.
Celebrations are scheduled to commence with a state-level Sadbhavna Diwas on which a Yuva Samvad will start at 1000 hrs at Ravindra Bhavan with Chief Minister Kamal Nath as Chief Guest. He shall respond to questions posed by university and college pupils. The programme will be telecast live in all 1,400 such academic institutions across the state. Sadbhavna races shall be conducted in every district by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department. In the state capital, people will begin running from TT Nagar Stadium at 0600 hrs. A Sadbhavana March is to get underway from Ravindra Bhavan at 1215 hrs and conclude at Lal Parade Ground. Mr Nath shall inaugurate a photo exhibition on late Rajiv Gandhi’s life and a picture book will be released.
During the Varsh, various competitions including elocution, poster-making, essay-writing, poetry composition, folk dance, discussion and quiz are to take place in colleges and varsities. Apart from this, a national-level seminar is scheduled on Panchayati Raj, Information Technology, empowerment of women, etc.
