YSRCP takes out huge rally supporting decentralization of Capital city

Vijayawada, Jan 19 (UNI) Ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) took out a massive rally here on Sunday supporting the government’s proposal of decentralization of capital city.
The Rally, led by Minister for Endowments Vellampalli Srinivas Rao, began at Sitannapet in the BRTS road and concluded at Madhura Nagar.
Large number of people holding placards and flexi banners took part in the rally.
YSRCP MLAs ---Malladi Vishnu, Jogi Ramesh, Kolusu Parthasarathy were among the leaders, who participated in the rally.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rao claimed that people of the state are in favour of decentralization of capital city.
The turn out of huge crowd to the rally today reflects the mood of people. He said that the bill, decentralizing the capital city, would be introduced in the Assembly on Monday and it will be passed.
The Minister described the agitations, being organised by the farmers in capital region opposing the shifting of capital city from Amaravati to Visakhapatnam, is 'artificial' and devoid of people’s support.
Mr Vishu, also the Chairman of Brahmin Corporation, reiterated that the YSRCP government is committed for the development of all 13 districts in the state.
He alleged that former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had snatched lands from farmers in the name of world class capital city but he failed to construct it during the last five years.
The TDP is misleading people on the decentralization of capital city with bogus agitations, Mr.Vishnu flayed.
However, the YSRCP government would do justice to the farmers in the capital region, the MLA asserted.
