YSRCP gets 49.95 per cent vote share in Assembly elections in AP

Amaravati, May 24 (UNI) The YSRCP which registered a landslide victory in Andhra Pradesh garnered 49.95 per cent vote share in the Assembly elections while the ruling Telugu Desam party received 39.18 per cent vote share.

The Election official said here on Friday that the YSRCP received 49.95 per cent vote share in Assembly elections while the TDP 39.18 per cent, BJP received 0.84 per cent, Congress got 1.17 per cent vote share. 1.28 per cent votes gone to NOTA.

In the Parliament elections, the YSRCP garnered 49.15 per cent vote share, the TDP 39.59 per cent, BJP 0.9 per cent, Congress 1.29 per cent vote share. 1.49 per cent votes gone to NOTA.

It may be mentioned here that the YSRCP won 151 Assembly seats and 22 MP seats and the ruling TDP won 23 MLA seats and three MP seats.
