YSRCP emerges victorious in ZPTC, MPTC elections

Vijayawada, Sep 19 (UNI) The ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) scored a resounding victory in the Mandal and Zilla Parishad elections in Andhra Pradesh, as per the results announced on Sunday.
The results prove yet again that the people of the state continue to repose confidence in the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
It was a long drawn legal battle for the ruling party which had overcome ‘hurdles’ being created by the Election Institution and the main opposition TDP before the victory landed in favour of YSRCP which swept the elections to the Assembly and Parliament two years ago.
