Youth should come forward to eradicate drug menace, says HP Education Minister

Kangra, Dec 7 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Industries and Technical Education Minister Bikram Thakur on Saturday urged students to come forward to eradicate the drug menace and use their academic studies for the development of society.
Stating this during the annual function at Vishest Bharti School at Sansarpur Terrace, Mr Thakur suggested the students should be the ambassadors of the drug eradication program launched by the government to save the young generation from disaster.
On this occasion, children presented cultural programs. He announced Rs 21,000 for the students who presented cultural programs. He gave prizes to the 10 meritorious students of class X and gave Rs 11000 cash prize and momentous to them.
