Youth having links with JeM, TTP arrested by UP ATS

Lucknow, August 12 (UNI) A youth allegedly having links with Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Tahrik -e-Taliban, Pakistan (TTP) was arrested by the Anti Terror Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh Police from Saharanpur on Friday, an official spokesman said here.
The ATS spokesman said, "Mohammad Nadeem, a resident of Gangoh in Saharanpur district has been arrested. During interrogation Nadeem revealed that he was planning a 'Fidayeen' attack on a government building or police premises."
The spokesman said that on the directions of the DGP and under supervision of ADG (Law and Order) a close vigil is being maintained on the radical elements by all the teams of ATS. "In this series the ATS received an intel for its associate agencies that included with the ideology of the JeM and TTP a person, resident of Kunda Kalan village in Gangoh area in Saharanpur was planning a Fidayeen attack'," he said.
