Youth electrocuted to death, another critically injured in Bandipora

Srinagar, Jul 14 (UNI) A 22-year-old youth died while another was critically injured when they came in contact with a high tension wire in north Kashmir district of Bandipora on Tuesday.
They said that the youth were installing iron shuttering on the top floor of an under-construction shopping complex in the main market in Bandipora. ''Two youths were critically injured when an iron rod came in contact with an overhead high tension wire,'' they said.
They said the wounded were immediately taken to a local hospital where one of them, identified as Irfan Malik, succumbed. ''The other injured, identified as Aqib Ahmad, was referred to SHMS hospital in Srinagar in a critical condition,'' they said.
