You are the biggest superstar, Aamir tells Amitabh in KBC

Mumbai, Oct 9 (UNI) Bollywood star Aamir Khan showered lavish praise on Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati saying, “In my opinion, you are the biggest superstar India has ever had and will ever have.”

The ‘Mahanayak Ka Mahotsav,’ will see Aamir Khan and his son Junaid Khan come together this Friday to celebrate the 82nd birthday of Big B, Bollywood’s most sought-after icon, who has not only shaped the industry with his unmatched talent and charisma but has also inspired generations through his enduring resilience.

In an engaging conversation with the father-son duo, Amitabh Bachchan asks Junaid to share his experience of being on the show.

Junaid reminisces about his early encounter with KBC where his father Aamir Khan was on the famed hot seat.

He revealed, “When Dad first came to KBC, I was just 6 or 7 years old, sitting in the audience. So, this isn’t my first time on KBC; I’ve been here before, watching him play.”

Making the moment even more special, Big B surprised Junaid by showcasing a nostalgic video clip from that time, leaving the audience in awe of the memorable connection spanning generations.

The conversation then shifted to Amitabh Bachchan's immense influence on Indian cinema, with Aamir Khan playfully addressing a long-standing grievance.

“I have to share something that’s been bothering me for a while. I had also texted you but you did not respond. In a video I came across, you mentioned that you’re not a big star; you said Aamir, Shahrukh, and Salman are the stars who receive public adoration and love when they appear. Hearing that made me feel bad because, in my eyes, I’m your biggest fan.”

Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday isn’t just another celebration — it’s become a cherished tradition for millions of fans who tune in to Kaun Banega Crorepati on Sony Entertainment Television.
