Lucknow, Nov 22 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will head a committee that will organise 'Uttar Pradesh Investor’s Meet 2018', which will be held on February 22 and 23 next year in Lucknow.
Industrial Development Commissioner (IDC) Anup Chandra Pandey said here on Wednesday that the nodal committee will finalise details about the Summit.
“Two deputy Chief Ministers – Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dr Dinesh Sharma – and other senior ministers will be part of the committee. IDC will be convener of the committee,” Mr Pandey said.
He said that this is an important summit where Uttar Pradesh will showcase investment potential. Foreign investors are expected to take part in the summit therefore Government of UP is in touch with Prime Minister’s office and Foreign Office.
“The Government will promote its policy of one city one product under which cities famous for their indigenous products will be promoted,” he said.
Recently, the Chief Minister had a meeting with US delegation where he promised business friendly atmosphere and a single window system for the investors. To facilitate industrialists and investors, a single window system has been established, and it is being monitored by the Chief Minister’s Office. The investors are being given investment-related information, facilities and permissions from one office itself,” he had told the delegation.
