Yogi launches projects worth Rs 373 cr in Bhadohi

Bhadohi, Oct 24 (UNI) On the eve of the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched projects worth Rs 373 crore including inaugurating of some completed projects apart from laying the foundation stones of others in adjoining district Bhadohi on Sunday.
Addressing a public meeting at Vibhuti Narayan Government Inter College grounds near Durgaganj, CM said, “Bhadohi district is making a new identity today as the development work during the last four and a half years was done on accelerated pace and due to this the famous carpet industry of the district is flourishing across the world and the exports have increased remarkably in the recent time.
“Earlier the development work reached a standstill due to increasing influence of criminalisation of politics in the district,” said the CM without taking the names of any. According to him, elimination of criminals in politics and working on the vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ has helped the district revive its past glory and march towards prosperity. “Earlier, the politicians were developing their own families only,” he said, asking the people that the projects which were launched today were not done during the last 70 years since independence. Congress, SP and BSP had only given patronage to the criminals and developed their own family, Yogi stated.
