New Delhi, Jun 18(UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP leader Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday met party's new Working President J P Nadda and other Central leaders in the Capital.
Among others, former Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan was also present.
During his stay in the Capital, the Chief Minister also met Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
"I was at BJP headquarters to meet new Working President of BJP J P Nadda. On the occasion, I also had interactions with Mr Amit Shah and other BJP leaders," the Chief Minister tweeted in Hindi.
Incidentally, in another missive, the Chief Minister is in the capital on a day a Special Court in Prayagraj sentenced four of the accused to life imprisonment and acquitted one on the 2005 terror attack at Ayodhya.
Two civilians had died in the cross fire that followed the attack.
In his Twitter missive, Chief Minister wrote: "We welcome the verdict of the special court on the terror attack on Ram Janmabhoomi complex in 2005. On the person acquitted, the Uttar Pradesh government will examine the matter legally and take necessary steps".
