Yogi congratulates Venkaiah on selection as VP candidate of NDA

Lucknow, Jul 17 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today congratulated Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu for his candidature by the National Democratic Alliance for the post of the Vice-President. “This decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah is a matter of pride for the farmers and the working class,” Mr Adityanath said in a written statement issued here. He said Mr Naidu had a long public life and fulfilled all the responsibilities given to him in government, as well as in party. “He is popular among the people all across the country and has proved his mettle as a Union Minister.
