Yogi concerned over Covid spread in Meerut division, asks districts to smarten up

Lucknow, Jul 2(UNI) Expressing his concern over the rising number of Corona positive cases in Meerut division, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday asked the departments and the concerned districts to put their all efforts in the surveillance work.
"Surveillance work on house to house survey has commenced in 6 districts of Meerut division today and it should be done strictly following all the norms," the CM directed the officials during his routine Team 11 meeting here on Thursday.
There are around 7,485 teams, in the six districts which will go for house to house survey . But the CM has directed that the number of teams should be doubled to over 15,000 so that the work is completed in next 10 days .
