Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Aug 24 2016 5:00PM Yoga & Surya Namaskar mandatory in municpal schoolsMumbai, Aug 24 (UNI) Saffron colour ruled the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has passed a proposal making Yoga and Surya Namaskar mandatory in the corporation schools. The Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has rejected the amendment demanded by the opposition parties, including Congress that the proposal be made optional for the school. The proposal was moved by BJP corporator Samita Kamble to improve the health of students by incorporating these traditional practices.
