Yes Bank $1 bn FDI proposal gets ex-post facto approval by Cabinet

New Delhi, May 25 (UNI) The Union Cabinet today gave ex-post facto approval to Yes Bank’s proposal to hike foreign investment from 41.87 to 75 per cent.
This will result in a Foreign Direct Investment of one billion dollar in the country.
The instruments for FDI investment include Qualified Institutions Placement of equity shares and/or issue of ADRs/GDRs and/or QFIs/FPIs under the Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) by acquisition of permissible securities on stock exchange (except NRIs).

New Delhi, April 23 (UNI) A Special Court in Delhi on Tuesday extended judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha till May 7 in the Delhi Excise Policy case.
They were arrested by the Enforcement Directorate under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
