Yeddyruppa returns as K'taka BJP chief, Sampla to head Punjab, Maurya UP

New Delhi, Apr 8 (UNI) In his first major organisational reshuffle ahead of elections in some states, including Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, BJP president Amit Shah today appointed new heads of the party in five states which saw the return of B S Yeddyruppa as chief of the Karnataka unit of the party.
Besides, Union Minister Vijay Sampla will head the party in Punjab, while Keshav Prasad Maurya has been appointed chief of the Uttar Pradesh unit of the party. Both the states are going to the polls early next year.
Dr K Laxman will be chief of Telengana unit and Dr Tapir Gao has been appointed head of the Arunachal Pradesh BJP.
