Year 2021 to be observed as 'Sushasan Sankalp Varsh': Haryana CM

Chandigarh, Dec 25 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday announced that 2021 would be observed as 'Sushasan Parinam Varsh,' during which officers and employees at field will be trained, to ensure successful implementation of various Good Governance reforms implemented during 2020.
'During 2021, no stone will be left unturned to ensure that delivery of citizen-centric services to the people of the state is done in a time-bound and hassle-free manner,' said Mr Lal.


The Chief Minister expressed these views, while addressing a state-level function, held here to celebrate the Good Governance Day on the birth anniversary of great freedom fighter Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The programme was telecast live in around 150 places in various districts, sub-divisions, tehsils and blocks in the presence of Union Ministers, MPs, Cabinet Ministers and MLAs.

During the event, as many as eight Good Governance announcements were made by the Chief Minister to motivate government employees to work hard for the welfare of masses.
Besides this, six new IT initiatives along with release of ‘Sushasan Sankalp Patrika’ highlighting the Good Governance intitaves of the State Government were also launched by the Chief Minister.

The list of announcements include an innovative project 'Suksham sinchai se Har Khet Mein Pani', through which water availability to farmers would ensured through on-farm micro irrigation based on canal water and STP treated wastewater which would be launched on a pilot-basis from January 1, 2021.
Nine STPs and canals in the districts of Narnaul, CharkhiDadri, Bhiwani and Fatehabad are being selected in the first instance. The total estimated cost of the project is about Rs. 600 crore.

The Chief Minister also announced One-time Registration Facility for all applicants to Government posts from January 1, 2021 by Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) and Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC).
The applicants will not have to pay separate fee for separate posts now. The applicant will have to do one-time registration and then, will have to pay online fee once in three years.
However, after three years, if an applicant wants to appear for any examination, then he would have to get fresh registration done.
