YD Thongchi selected for ‘National Award for Excellence in Literature’

Itanagar, Aug 11 (UNI) Padma Shri awardee and a distinguished writer-thinker of Arunachal Pradesh, Yeshe Dorjee Thongchi has been selected for conferment of ‘Jeewan Ram Mungi Devi Goenka Memorial National Award for Excellence in Literature’.
The award that contains a trophy, a citation, a plaque, and a cheque of Rs 2.01 lakh would be presented to the Sahitya Akademi Award winning author in a function to be held at Guwahati on September 25 next.
