Yatri Suvidha Diwas: Passenger convenience remains centre at core of airport development strategy, says Director

Jammu, June 13 (UNI) Asserting that the airport aims to reaffirm its role as not only a transportation hub but also a catalyst for regional growth, tourism and public service, Director, Jammu Airport, Airport Authority of India (AAI), Devender Yadav said on Saturday that passenger convenience has remained at the centre of Jammu Airport's development strategy.
Addressing the media here ahead of the Yatri Suvidha Diwas celebrations on June 15, the Director, flanked by senior officers, said, "Jammu Airport is the principal aviation gateway to the Jammu region and one of North India's strategically significant airports."
Stating that Yatri Suvidha Diwas will be celebrated on June 15 with a series of passenger-centric, community outreach and environmental initiatives aimed at enhancing passenger experience and recognizing the contributions of aviation stakeholders, he said, "the observance comes at a time when Jammu Airport has witnessed significant growth and transformation over the past decade."
