Yashoda Hospitals awarded best hospital in 'Organ Donation'

Hyderabad, Nov 27 (UNI) Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad was awarded Best Hospital in “Organ Donation” at the National level.
Yashoda Group of Hopitals Chairman G Ravinder Rao received the award on Monday at a colourful function organised by National Organ & Tissue Transplant Orgnization (NOTTO) at Constitution Club Annexe, New Delhi.
Union Minster of State for Heath and Family welfare(HFW) Ms Anupriya Patel has presented the award where Union Ministers of State HFW Ashwini Kumar and Vijay Bhaskar, Health Minister of Tamil Nadu along with CEO of Jeevandan organisation Dr G Swarnalatha of Telangana, Prof Vimal Bhandari the Director NOTTO & Prof. Jagdeesh Prasad of DGHS had also participated.
Yashoda Hospitals is the leading medical centre where a large number of organ donations and cadaveric organ transplants are carried out in the country. It is on the frontline by not only promoting organ donations and transplantations but pioneering in life Liver, Kidney transplantations, a release here said.

Imphal, Feb 26 (UNI): Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh today informed the House that proposals for setting up of Border Haats at Tusom Christain Village (Ukhrul District) and Konkanthana (Huimine Thana) and Pilong (Kamjong District) have been submitted to the Union Ministry of Commerce, to promote cross border trade in the border areas of Ukhrul and Kamjong districts.
