Xebia launches AI-ready data platform Xebia Axis

Bengaluru, July 14 (UNI) Xebia, a global AI-first digital transformation and engineering company, on Tuesday launched Xebia Axis: Agentic Data Foundation, a platform aimed at helping enterprises modernise their data infrastructure and accelerate artificial intelligence (AI) adoption.
The company said the solution combines proprietary AI agents with data engineering expertise to assess, migrate, monitor and manage enterprise data platforms up to three times faster than conventional approaches, while ensuring governance, security and data quality.
Designed to address challenges posed by fragmented data environments and legacy systems, Xebia Axis provides an end-to-end data foundation to help organisations move AI projects from pilot stage to enterprise-scale deployment.
The platform comprises six integrated modules covering data readiness assessment, platform deployment, knowledge management, migration, observability and operations. Xebia said enterprises can obtain a data readiness assessment and migration blueprint within two to four weeks, reducing the time required for large-scale data modernisation.
Built with governance as a core feature, the platform includes access controls, audit logging, policy enforcement and data residency capabilities. It supports major cloud data platforms, including AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric, along with leading large language models such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and Mistral AI.
"Enterprises have invested heavily in cloud transformation, but many still struggle to operationalise AI because their underlying data isn't ready. Xebia Axis bridges that gap by helping organisations build governed, AI-ready data platforms and accelerate AI deployment," Xebia Chief Executive Officer Anand Sahay said.
Global CTO – Data & AI Niels Zeilemaker said the platform combines AI agents with engineering expertise to modernise and manage enterprise data platforms while embedding governance throughout the process.
According to the company, Xebia Axis has already been deployed in sectors including banking, aviation and retail, helping customers modernise legacy systems, consolidate fragmented data, speed up cloud migration and improve enterprise-wide data quality.
The solution is now available globally, with organisations able to begin through a standalone readiness assessment that provides a data readiness score, infrastructure inventory and migration roadmap within two to three weeks.
