Wrong policies of Modi govt responsible for rising inflation: Kang

Chandigarh, May 23 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) criticised the central government for inflation, blaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policies for the rise in prices.
AAP Punjab chief spokesperson Malwinder Singh Kang slammed the Modi government, saying that the BJP government at centre has made life difficult for common people by constantly adding to the financial woes of the people for the last eight years.
Speaking to the media at the party headquarters here on Monday, he said that before coming to power, Narendra Modi used to say that if the BJP came to power, he would deposit Rs 15 lakh in every citizen's account, but after his government was formed, instead of Rs 15 lakhs in everyone’s account, India now has a 15 per cent inflation rate.
