World toileteries leader Fluidmaster makes entry in India

New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) The world's largest manufacturer of toilet tank components and trim, announced on Wednesday that it has entered into a joint venture to be known as Fluidmaster Jindal Sanitaryware India Private Limited, manufacturing sanitary ware products, including toilet valves, seats and cisterns for the Indian market.

"Fluidmaster's entry into India is an excellent next step in the global expansion of our operations," said Robert Anderson Schoepe, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fluidmaster. A joint venture provides Fluidmaster with the ability to build on an established foundation of manufacturing and distribution, he added.
"Through this business platform, plus our additional investments, we will be able to serve the fast accelerating demand for sanitary ware in the Indian market.
"We are very honoured to partner with such a respected global company as Fluidmaster," said Ram Niwas Jindal. "Beyond investment, Fluidmaster brings substantial operational expertise and the potential to serve their existing global OEM customers in India."
To accommodate significant planned growth, the company's manufacturing operations will transit to a newly-constructed facility, also in Bahadurgarh, which will be completed in the first quarter of 2019.
