New Delhi, Aug 12 (UNI) Actress turned philanthropist Dia Mirza on Sunday launched the wildlife anthem 'Mere Desh Ki Zameen' at the Gaj Mahotsav here, on the occasion of 'World Elephant Day'.
'Our Ode to Our Nation! Presenting #MereDeshKiZameen, a first of its kind anthem that celebrates our rich biodiversity. JaiHind!,' Dia said in a tweet.

Gaj Mahotsav is one of the biggest events planned every year in Delhi which aims at protecting animals. It has been started to help the Asian elephants.
The track is produced by Wildlife Trust of India along with Born Free Entertainment, the production house which is owned by Dia Mirza and her husband Sahil Sangha.
The song is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Vishal Dadlani, Benny Dayal, Shreya Goshal and Clinton Cerejo. It is written by CBFC Chief Prasoon Joshi.
Speaking about receiving this opportunity in recent reports, Dia mentioned that this was one of her oldest dreams and expressed her happiness over that getting fulfilled.
She also believes that this song will encourage children and parents to participate equally in this movement and help the ecosystem.
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, along with Wildlife Trust of India, kicked off the celebrations of ‘Gaj Mahotsav’ on Sunday.
The four-day ‘Gaj Mahotsav’ celebrations will continue till August 15.
‘Gaj Mahotsav’ celebrations will include sessions on policy, art exhibitions, film shows, music and entertainment.
A special area has been earmarked on the IGNCA lawns for the display and sale of elephant-themed products and produce from various NGOs that have been invited to showcase their work.
The 101 elephants displayed at IGNCA during Gaj Mahotsav symbolise the 101 elephant corridors that need to be protected.
