Workshop on rain water harvesting system at KCET:Dr Joshi

Amritsar, Jul 20 (UNI) Renowned hydro geologist Dr Amar Joshi on Saturday urged the people to make the rain water harvesting a movement.
He said the water is most precious of the natural resources and every drop needed to be tapped and saved to meet the rising challenge of water scarcity in the country.
While speaking at the Seminar Cup Workshop on Rain Water Harvesting Techniques at Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology (KCET), Dr Joshi discussed the economical and effective methods for optimum rain water during the Monsoon. ''The situation is turning alarming in the country. There is lots of rains but we are ill-prepared to harvest the water during the Monsoon'', said he.
