Women 'walkathon' held to protest against severe air pollution in Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 12 (UNI) A large number of young women participated in a walkathon on Saturday, from Patel Chowk to Jantar Mantar to create awareness and draw attention to worsening air quality in Delhi.
The event was organised by the 'Priyadarshini' cell of Delhi Pradesh Mahila Congress.
An initiative of All India Mahila Congress, 'Priyadarshini' seeks to be an open, vibrant platform for young girls and women to engage in current and relevant issues of the day ranging from womens' security to lack of job for young to pollution.
