Women's World Boxing C'ship: Mary enters final; inch closer to her record sixth gold

New Delhi, Nov 22 (UNI) Five-time World Champion Mary Kom (48kg) crushed Kim Hyang Mi of North Korea via unanimous decision to storm into the final in the Women’s World Boxing Championship here at KD Jahdav Hall of the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium here on Thursday.
The legendary boxer outclassed her North Korean opponent with a unanimous 5-0 win to assure her place in the grand finale and inch closer to her record sixth gold at the Worlds.
Though her opponent (in red corner) was bigger in physical presence, but the Indian pugilist was above par and proved her mettle.
