Woman throws son, daughter, self from running train

Eluru Apr 13 (UNI): In a shocking incident, a woman allegedly committed suicide
by jumping from a running train after throwing her daughter and infant son in which
the woman and daughter were killed while son sustained head injury.
Police said that the woman D Prabhavathi (30) belonged to Badarala village in
Lingampalem mandal in West Godavari district, had differences with her husband.
While she was travelling in a Vijayawada bound train last night, threw her daughter
Mahalakshmi (5) and son Mahidhar (1) out of train and later jumped from the train.

The railway gangmen found the bodies of Prabhavathi and her daughter
Mahalakshmi at Vatuluru station in the morning. Some distance away, the
one-year-old infant was found with injuries. The infant was shifted to government
hospital, where he was being treated.

The husband of the deceased, D Koteswara Rao and family members identified the
bodies and the police questioned the husband of the deceased woman.
