Woman killed, husband injured in road accident in Ambala

Ambala, Sept 21 (UNI) A couple from the BC Bazaar Ambala Cantt was returning to their residence from village Boh near here today when a military school bus hit their Activa scooter on Boh road.
The couple fell down on the road. While husband escaped with minor injuries his wife Renu fell on the road and was run over under the bus. She was injured badly.
The Military police took her to the military hospital but the doctor after examining her declared dead. The BC Bazaar police took the dead body to the civil hospital for post mortem. The police handed over the dead body to the family members after postmortem today. The couple had gone to Boh village to visit their plot purchased a few days back.
