Woman held for killing husband in north Kashmir

Baramulla, Oct 22 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a woman who hanged her sarpanch husband with the help of another person and later claimed he died by suicide in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
He said on October 12, Police Post (PP) Aloosa in Bandipora received an information that one sarpanch Javid Ahmad Dar has committed suicide at his home at village Zurmanz. However, police registered a case and initiated proceedings.
Suspecting some foul play, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Bandipora constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy SP) headquarter Bandipora.
