Woman alleges sexual abuse by son of CPI(M) State Secretary in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 18 (UNI) In a major shock to the ruling CPI(M) in Kerala, a woman has alleged that the son of the party state Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan raped her on the pretext of marriage and she has a child from that relation.
The issue came to light when the 33-year-old woman hailing from Bihar filed a complaint before the Mumbai Police that she was cheated by Binoy, son of the party state secretary.
Meanwhile, reacting to the issue, Binoy Kodiyeri told newspersons here that the allegation was baseless. The woman had demanded Rs 5 crore compensation claiming that she has a child from him, he added.
Admitting that he knows her, Mr Binoy said this was nothing but to blackmail him to get money.
Later, he filed a complaint before the IG in Kannur seeking action against the woman.
According to Oshiwara police station in Mumbai, Binoy who married in 2008 had acquainted with the woman, a bar dancer, during his stay in Dubai.
Later, she quit her job as requested by him and shifted to Andheri in Mumbai where he rented a house in 2010.
After came to know that he is a married man, she distanced herself from him.
This is also to be noted that he was 'involved in a cheating case of Rs 13 crore' in Dubai where he was imposed a travel ban by the court there following a complaint from JAAS Tourism.
