Jammu, Oct 7 (UNI) With ‘High Josh’, thousands of aspirants eyeing to don olive on Friday appeared on the first day for Army’s Agniveer recruitment rally at Jorawar Stadium, Sunjuwan here.
The Agniveer Recruitment Rally being organised by Army Recruiting Office, Jammu is being conducted for the aspiring youth from 10 districts of Jammu and Kashmir including Samba, Kathua, Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi, Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar.
Defence spokesman said that the candidates will be enrolled into Indian Army as Agniveers under the Agnipath Scheme during the rally that started after being flagged off by Zonal Recruiting Officer, Punjab and J&K in presence of officials from Army, Civil Administration, J&K Police and Health department.
