With 428 new cases, COVID-19 tally reaches 11111 in Bihar

Patna, Jul 3 ( UNI) With 428 new cases, the COVID-19 tally on Friday increased to 11111 in Bihar.
Health department sources said here that the test report received tonight had 197 new cases, in which Nalanda reported 35 cases followed by Aurangabad with 11, Patna 10, Bhojpur and Kishanganj 7 each, Jamui, Kaimur and Nawada 6 each, Arwal, East Champaran , Jehanabad, Katihar, Sheikhpura and Siwan 5 each, Supaul 4, Lakhisarai 3, Bhagalpur, Buxar, Gaya, Madhubani and West Champaran 2 each and Gopalganj, Rohtas and Sitamarhi 1 each.
Prior to this, according to the test report received during the day, 231 new cases were found.
Out of 231 cases, Patna reported 48 cases followed by Muzaffarpur with 32, Siwan 19 , West Champaran 17, Bhagalpur 16, Saharsa 15, East Champaran 14, Begusarai 13, Nalanda 9, Aurangabad 8, Purnea 7, Gaya and Munger 6 each, Madhubani, Rohtas and Sheohar 3 each, Jamui, Lakhisarai, Madhepura and Sitamarhi 2 each and Kaimur, Kishanganj and Sheikhpura 1 each.
Infection trail of these cases were being traced, informed the sources.

Vyapar Mala Express reached Tripura within 68 hrs from Delhi to Jirania covering 2360
kilometres distance with 58 wagons two days ago, transport department officials said
here today.
Officials stated this was a special type of cargo service where traders can book part
of the goods carrying rake as per their requirement or supply order. The first goods
express train Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) which left from Delhi Kishanganj station
of Northern Railway to Jirania station on August 1 last.

all the four accused, including a government advocate, to surrender forthwith for spitting
on a lady doctor at a Covid centre two weeks ago and told police to conduct Test
Identification (TI) parade immediately.
