With 13 new cases, Covid-19 tally mounts to 1,046 in HP

Shimla, Jul 4 (UNI) Thirteen more people tested positive for the novel Coronavirus in Himachal Pradesh mounting the tally to 1,046 in the state, Senior Officer of Government confirmed here on Saturday.
Additional Chief Secretary Health and nodal officer of Covid-19 Mr RD Dhiman said that one woman died in Hamirpur and Nine cases tested positive in District Three Solan and one in Kangra.
One more woman aged seventy years of Bir-Bagehra village of the district who was referred from Dedicated COVID-19 care centre Bhota to Lal Bahadur Shashtri Medical College, Ner Chowk( Mandi) on 28/06/20 and was corona positive with Diabetes Mellitus died today at 0015hrs seven more CORONA positive cases were detected in the district this evening.
Nine found positive in the district including. Five members of a family of Bari Brahmna including a woman aged 65 years, her son aged 42 years, daughter in law aged 40 years and two granddaughters aged 16 years and 14 years respectively. This family had returned from Delhi on June 27th.
Similarly, two members of a family from Mahare kaswa of the district including a man aged 65 years and his wife aged 58 years have also been found positive. This family had returned from Ghaziabad on June 27th.
With this, three CORONA related patients of Hamirpur including two women have lost their lives due to this dreaded disease.

Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus positive cases in the district stood at 265 with 84 active cases, 178 fully treated cases and three dead.
Three tested positive in Solan today increasing tally 114 in Solan including 44 active and 66 cured.
One new case was found in Kangra district stood at 283 with 86 active cases, 193 fully treated cases.
25 recovered in the state including eight in Kangra five each in Solan and Shimla three in Hamirpur, one each in Sirmaur, Bilaspur and Una.
The number of active cases increased to 326 in the state at cured 696. Nine died of Pandemic in the state so far.
