Wild Card entrant Suraj ousted

Bengaluru, Nov 21 (UNI) Proving his seeding, fourth Seed Elias Ymer

(Switzerland) ousted India's Suraj Prabodh in the first round of the

US Dollar 100,000 Bengaluru Open ATP Challenger being held at the Karnataka

State Lawn Tennis Association here today.

Wild Card entrant Suraj who is been a promising youngster

admitted that he was intimidated by his opponents ranking and the

players he had felled, before the start of the game.

Though, with two breaks, he went 4-2 up in the opening set, he

failed to maintain the momentum and went down 4-6 due to a number of

unforced errors.

In the second set, he did make a late comeback and took the set

into a tie-breaker, from where he went down tamely.
