Addressing mediapersons at the Press Club here, Ms Hem Lata said there are sufficient evidences before Shilai and state police during her husband's lifetime, but it never acted and also tried to cover up his murder as the road accident should be probed by the CBI.
''My husband was assaulted under a big game plan as he was buried under mound of sands before being mercilessly beaten up. How I could trust the state police and Special Investigation Team probing this incident? It should be only handed over to CBI.
