Widow of Home Guard gets Rs 30 lakh accidental insurance

Kakinada, January 20(UNI) Mrs M Satyaveni widow of Home Guard M N Reddy who died in the line of duty received Rs 30 lakhs towards Axis Bank accidental insurance scheme from the SP Ravindranath Babu at a brief event held at the district police office here on Thursday.

The SP also presented another cheque for Rs 2,10,160 to her, being the one day salary contributed by fellow home guards. Similarly a cheque for Rs 2,12,290 being the one day salary contributed by the home guards to P Sridevi widow of Home guard P.Srinivas who died on duty was also presented.
