Widespread Hindu dharma prachara by TTD commences with Gita Jayanthi : TTD Chairman

Tirumala, Dec 7 (UNI) The wide spread activities to protect, preserve and propagate Sanatana Hindu Dharma Prachara by TTD commences with the event of Gita Jayanthi, said TTD Trust Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy here on Saturday.
Addressing at the Gita Jayanthi fete held at SV HS Grounds here wherein nearly 10 thousand students from various colleges of TTD participated in community Gita Parayana, Reddy said that Gita Jayanthi is observed as the day on which Lord Krishna taught Arjuna the importance of life by the way of 700 slokas.
We want to give this essence to the next gen as the students should learn the importance of ethical life narrated by Gitacharya in Bhagavat Gita, he said we have organised this massive programme with the collaboration of HDPP wing of TTD with ISKCON and other like minded spiritual organisations.
