The Governor said,''In spite of various challenges arising from the pandemic my Government has rolled out numerous policies and programmes demonstrating its care and concern for the well being of citizens. Similarly there had been significant development of infrastructure by way of National and State highways, he said, adding the Grid Separator at Dabolim Airport had been completed.
''The floating jetty at Panaji in River Mandovi has been completed and commissioned. The new prestigious 8-lane Zuari Bridge will shortly be completed and commissioned. Further, the work of construction of new International Airport at Mopa is progressing at a rapid pace. The Goa Investment Promotion Board has granted approval to 196 projects in principle with total investment of Rs 15,780.54 crore and with employment potential of 37,247 persons. Government has launched the online marriage registration systems in November. The 60th Liberation day celebrations were inaugurated by none other than the President,” the Governor added.
